anti semetic incident in a local Toronto park

Tonight, around 7 pm, I was walking through a local public park enroute to the supermarket. I passed the gazebo, where a large group of teens were loitering. All of a sudden 3 teenage boys started yelling at me, that they were going to burn my (insert f word here) house down (they said that 2 times) then they added that they were going to harm my family (G-d forbid) I phoned the police, who took an hour to show up (!!) an hour. sheesh. my mother in law phoned b'nai brith and I filed a report that way too. By the time the police came it was getting dark so I went to the supermarket and they met me there. the other cops in the park got the teenagers. but I had a lousy description because I was so scared I ran away when the teens started yelling things. What is the world coming to when you can't even walk through the park during the day time???? it was still light out. I bet if I was not wearing a snood they would have said nothing to me. I never thought I would experience an anti semetic incident, but I guess no one is immune. I read it in the papers, but I never thought it would happen to me. NO one should have to live in fear. I hope the police call those teenagers parents. but then again, if they are behaving like that, their parents probably don't give a damn anyway.
anyway, I feel upset so I am going to call it a night and try to relax and get to sleep. What was supposed to be a 1 hour trip to the market ended up into almost 3. sigh.

Good night..
will post more soon...

I'm still here!

Don't worry, I haven't abandoned my blog. I have just been really busy. So, things are going ok B"H with some minor things at 4 am that are right now going wrong like the fact that my left eye is half swollen shut due to vigamox eye drops for conjuncivitis. I am playing nurse taking care of #1 and #3 who are running fevers, and #1 is throwing up a lot. I noticed my eye was red and put in some of my daughter's eye drops (she has pink eye) and went back to sleep. when I woke up to give #3 some water I noticed my eye lid was half closed. It freaked me out and I was really nervous. I called telehealth where the condescending nurse told me to relax .easy for him to say (it was a male nurse) it wasn't his eye that is half closed. He told me my eye lid is swollen and thats why it looks like that. when I look up the side effects of vigamox that is one of the side effects. Well, that sucks. I am going tonight to the optomotrist for my check up and maybe he can give me some drops. or maybe I will call the doctor in the house thing and get a prescription that way. also have a sore throat. I am going for day surgery august 9th. I can NOT afford to get sick now or in the next two weeks. Or else they will cancel my surgery. crap.

anyway, in other news..#2 is enjoying camp though its over shortly (aug. 16th) . she missed a few days from thurs. until this past monday due to stomach flu and pink eye. (I guess she likes to share LOL. ) now #1 and #3 have fevers. #1 has thrown up a lot but is drinking water and fluids, so that's a good thing.

Well, that's it. I am going to try to relax and go back to sleep. I think telehealth sucks and is a big waste of tax payers money. If I wasn't so upset about my droopy eye I would have told that nurse off...
that's it for now..

It's baaaaack...

the adenomyosis pain that is. Damn. Either that or I have a bladder infection. I am going to try to go to a walk in clinic to see if I do have a bladder infection. Sometimes with the adenomyosis pain it makes me feel like I got to go to the washroom. My grandmother just got diagnosed with that from a routine ultrasound. She had years of pain during her fertile years and back then they didn't know why. I wonder if adenomyosis can be inherited. I hope not, cause it sure hurts like hell. But anyway..

So, in other more interesting, less kvetchy news, I started back to school shopping already. I know its only the first few days into July but I find it's easier to buy over time, rather than spend a lot of money all at once. I am buying my daughter's dresses off of ebay, I find there is more of a selection there. I bought her a non character bookbag today off of ebay. (her school doesn't really allow bookbags with a character on them and its hard to find a non character bookbag in the mall.) For my son, I bought him a batman bookbag today in a real life store :) it was a real bargain, it came with a lunchbag and pencil case too, and it was on clearance for some reason I have not figured out, I only paid 11 dollars for it including tax. Maybe because of the canada day weekend. There were a lot of big sales in the mall today I noticed.

Well, that's it for now, will post more later.
